Instructions for Reporting Learning Hours
Last updated: 2026-04-15
You are responsible for reporting your Job Ready IL learning hours to the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Family Community Resource Center (FCRC). Please report your hours to IDHS as soon as you have completed 80 hours of eligible activities in the month. Otherwise, you may experience a disruption in your benefits. If you have questions about your benefits, get help here.
It takes two days for your learning activities to be validated and recorded. Plan to complete your learning hours a few days before you submit your report.
To obtain your activity report:
-
From the upper menu, select Career > Activity Report.
-
In the From and To fields, enter the start and end dates for your report. This will generally be the first and last day of a month (for example, 5/1/2026 - 5/31/2026).
-
For Include, select Activity in Timeframe.
-
Click Submit. Your User Activity Report appears. It includes a list of your learning activities, and total time spent learning.
Make sure you're seeing the hours you are expecting to see. It may take a few days before your learning hours are shown in this report.
5. Click the Participation Certificate link (to the right of the Submit and Print buttons).
A certificate of participation is generated and is now stored on your device.
How to Locate Your Certificate After Downloading
The certificate will be named “file.pdf” when it is downloaded to your computer, phone, or tablet. After locating your certificate, we recommend saving it to a safe place or emailing it to yourself for easy access. See below for how to locate the certificate on different devices.
