 About Our Organization: 

Central States SER is a non-for-profit organization based in the Little Village Neighborhood. We provide a variety of services for youth, adults, and families with the sole purpose of improving their lives. We follow a holistic approach and our main focus is to provide resources in education, employment, and mental health to ensure our customers reach their individual goals.

 About the Position: 

We would like our interns to have an unique experience based on their goals and interests. Some of the skills they will be working on (regardless of capstone project) are active listening, planning/organizing, researching, decision making, project management, content creation, and strategic thinking. Also, interns will be working directly with our LV Reconnection Hub Manager and youth team.

 Time Commitment: 

 

35 hours per week for 10 weeks including 5 hours per week of paid professional development

Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm

Paid professional development scheduled throughout the internship

$15/hr compensation

 Location of Internship: 

 

100% On-site

We can be flexible based on capstone project.
