About Our Organization:

Central States SER (SER) is a workforce development and education organization that believes in the
potential of each and every individual. Since our inception in 1987, SER has assisted thousands of
marginalized and disadvantaged residents from across the City of Chicago and suburban Cook County
in achieving their career and academic goals through quality employment, education and training
programs. We help some of the hardest-to-reach youth and adults – people trying to improve their
lives but who are at risk of slipping through the cracks. At SER we do everything it takes to help our
customers succeed.

 About the Position: 

 

Depends on interns interest and aptitude, but interns would be welcomed to host trainings for
customers. Trainings could be on following topics: Job Readiness, Soft Skills, or Digital Literacy. Interns
could create and administer client satisfaction surveys or other types of surveys for clients or staff.
Interns could help with fundraising campaigns or assisting with the coordination/planning of annual
events.
